Bob accepted Christ as his Savior in 1958 while his parents served as missionaries in Japan. He and Sue were married in 1973 and have two adult children and five grandchildren. They have attended Laurelwood since November, 1984. Bob has served previously as Trustee Chairman, Deacon and Elder. Since retiring from the federal government in 2006, he has worked with other volunteers in maintaining the church buildings and grounds. Bob and Sue have also made a dozen short-term mission trips in the United States and Mexico, from two weeks to seven months in length.
