This coming week, we continue our study in Romans as we look at the real culprit behind the struggle to follow God.

When we trusted in Jesus, we died to the ability of the law to condemn us. Since no one stands over us to make sure we obey, are we free to do whatever we want? As Christians, we are on the "honor system" and we don't want to abuse our liberty. Since Christ set us free from struggling to keep a bunch of rules, we want to please Him.

This coming week, we get back to our series reading through Paul's letter to the Romans. We will begin our study exploring what it means to be united to Christ.

This Sunday, we looked at how our standing with God has changed because of Christ's work on the cross.

This week, we saw through the life of Abraham that God has always intended to make people right through faith! In looking at this passage, we also learned how being made right through faith transforms our response to God and others.
