Job Description
Qualifications
1.
Grow in Christian character and
relationship with Jesus Christ.
2.
Attitude of service not only toward
children, but also toward their parents and other staff workers.
3.
Support the statement of faith and the
church vision.
4.
Have gifting and/or abilities in the area of shepherding and a passion for working
with children.
Functions
1.
Be present at Club at least fifteen
minutes before Club begins to receive instructions for the night and to be
ready to greet children, issue name tags..
2.
Facilitate discussion/activities during
the Coach/Kids/Snack (CKS) time. To acknowledge and encourage efforts made by
children for bible verse memory or any other completed assignments.
3.
Encourage good sportsmanship, team
spirit during games time. Participate with kids as and when appropriate.
4.
Model godly behavior/attitude and
maintain personal spiritual disciplines as you encourage children to do likewise.
5.
Make mention of children’s birthday at
CKS time. To follow up on absentees
with a note or phone call.
6.
Pray for the children in your team as
least once a week by name.
7.
Participate in scheduled training and
staff meetings/functions.
8.
Secure a substitute coach when needed
and report your absence and replacement to the Club Director.
9.
Be willing to take on other assignments assigned by
Club Director especially during special events.
Accountability
Report directly to the Club
66 Director.
Term of Service
This position will be
appointed for the duration of Feb.28th - May 15th/June 5th
.
