Small Groups

Laurelwood is a family-oriented church, and we want to get to know each other on a personal level. One of the ways we do that is through Small Groups. A Small Group is a group of people who meet in a member’s home. We usually gather around to share a cup of coffee and a snack, and learn more about the Bible and each other. We share prayer requests, as well as the joys and hurts we all experience. We have training available for anyone who wants to grow as a small group leader. Our goal is to create Small Groups to help meet every need within the church body.

We desire to help people mature in their knowledge, skills, habits, conviction, and character as disciples who love Jesus Christ, his Word, and his people. Our aim is to equip people with skills, heart, and tools in order to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), beginning right here in our own Jerusalem, East Clark County.
