Prime Timers

We call our ministry to seniors the Prime Timer Ministry. It is comprised of an active 55+ age group of people who meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month (except November) for fellowship and support. We have a variety of luncheon programs and day trips within the local area. Our Christmas luncheon is usually scheduled early in December with a special speaker and is held at a local restaurant. We seek to meet annually with the youth of the church to establish relationships and support them with prayer. We invite all 55+ friends and members of the church to be a part of our time together.

Prime Timer Goals:

1. Fellowship and Support
1. Monthly meetings and day trips
2. Phone calls to 55+ who don’t attend by active participants
3. Visit more of the people who can no longer attend church
2. Adopt a family
1. Find out needs of family
2. Available to advise
3. Pray for them on a regular basis
3. Praying for the Youth of Laurelwood
1. Meet once a year with the youth
2. Get monthly requests
3. Seek personal contact from time to time either by seeing them at church or by telephone
