Men’s Ministry

Our purpose in Men’s Ministry is to develop a thriving community of Christian men who know God intimately, have zeal to walk as Jesus walked and desire to reach and disciple others for Christ.
We believe that a lifestyle of worship – glorifying God in all we do (1 Corinthians 10:31) – is a balance of fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. Every component of our ministry is dedicated to one of these core values.
“Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness” 1 Timothy 4:7
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” Proverbs 27:17
Discipleship
Men’s small groups are the foundation of men’s ministry. These groups consist of three to five men who meet weekly for prayer, accountability, fellowship and spiritual growth.
Swordsmen for Christ/Swordsmen for Life: We acknowledge the preeminence of the Bible being the Word of God as vital for our spiritual growth. It is our desire to memorize one scripture verse a week for the rest of our lives.
Contact Doug Lundahl for group times.
Fellowship
A group from church goes to an annual Promise Keepers event, always returning home revived, inspired and challenged to be a better father, husband and Christian (Ephesians 5:25).
Ministry
We get together a group of men every year for a work day to help our widows, seniors and single moms with chores and tasks around the house that they need help with.
Evangelism
Each of the following events is a non-threatening activity where people can come and have a good time with other men:
Annual golf tournament: Usually held in July at one of our local courses.
