Due to a recording error, the first five minutes of the sermon was not recorded. Steve began his message by introducing Israel’s “Golden Age” and King Solomon who was known for his wisdom as a great builder and his vast wealth. King Solomon asks in Ecclesiasties 1:1-11 “Why am I here? What is the point?” In an effort to discover what the purpose of life is–how to pursue happiness–King Solomon asks a series of questions in Ecclesiasties 1 & 2. We pick up the recording with Steve showing us how Solomon attempted to find the key to true happiness.
