Ministry Overview:
After devoting their first year in Germany to full-time German language study, the Loves anticipate developing strategies to facilitate effective and meaningful short-term missions experiences 1) for churches that support and send out short-term teams, 2) for individuals who want to experience cross-cultural ministry, and 3) for missionaries whose ministries will benefit from short-term participation.
Primary Ministry Focus: Coordinating short-term ministries throughout Europe.
Major Challenges: The Loves will be working with people from many nationalities, backgrounds and cultures. Discernment is needed to foster understanding and identify ministry needs.
Prayer Focus: Pray for discernment in identifying ministry opportunities and for effectiveness in coordinating short-term ministries.

Ministry Overview:
Our vision: A movement of God among the youth of Eastern Europe that finds its home in the local church and transforms society. Our mission: To equip young leaders in Eastern Europe to fulfill Christ’s commission. We want to see passionate followers of Jesus Christ, with a vision to reach and disciple their generation. We prayerfully accomplish these things by providing: 9 month Internship programs for national leaders, Training week-ends for leaders and ministry teams, Evangelism training week-ends, Summer Camps, Hands-on Discipleship of young leaders and new believers, Bible study and leadership training materials, and leadership training facilities (in the Czech Republic this is at Malenovice).
The Czech Republic is a nation that is profoundly secular and quite skeptical of religion. Some say it is the most atheistic nation on earth, with the highest percentage of people convinced that God and a spiritual world does not even exist. The evangelical church is tiny, making up only less than one third of one percent in a country of 10 and a half million. But the church is growing, and there is a renewed interest in spiritual things, especially among young people. A new generation of leaders has risen up since the revolution, and their efforts are bringing significant change to the spiritual climate of the country. The greatest need is for evangelism of the lost while the doors of interest are still open, and for equipping a new generation of leaders for the church. The harvest is ripe, but the workers are very few.
Pray for courage and innovation in evangelism, and that the Church would not fall into complacency or be wooed by the god of materialism. Pray for an army of workers to be released into the harvest field, and for mobilization of young people for the task of building Christ’s Kingdom.
