Ministry Overview:
We work with a team of other missionaries to reach the Yao people in Malawi. Specifically David repairs the vehicles and homes of other missionaries. He also leads a Bible study with all the workers. Pat is learning the Chiyao language so as to communicate better with the Yao women.

We work in Mangochi, Malawi among the Yao people. The Yao are a folk Islamic group which resides in Malawi, Mozambique and Tanzania. As former slave traders, the Yao are the lower class people of Malawi and are very poor. They number 1 million +. The Yao are an unreached people group who are still needing the Bible in their own language. There are a few small Yao churches.

2007 goals:
Getting settled back into ministry in Malawi. Pat and another co-worker will be looking at starting a women’s or children’s program.
